My name is Sevoey (pronounced like sa-voy), the photographer behind Sevoey Designs. I’m 27, and was born and raised in Lincoln, Nebraska.
I launched my photography business in 2013 before moving to Nashville to study Graphic Design and Studio Art at Belmont University. I have been shooting for over 8 years now and have photographed a variety of work including weddings, elopements, portraits, live music and athletics. I have also photographed Division 1 athletics for my alma mater, Belmont University, and have been published in Huskers Illustrated and The Daily Nebraskan while photographing the Nebraska Huskers.
Yellow is my favorite color. I buy vintage cameras whenever I stumble across one at a thrift store or yard sale. Starting the day with a matcha latte and a book is one of my favorite morning rituals. My house is filled with plants. I love being surrounded by the people I love. And I love to travel and experience new cultures (<-- that's me in front of Big Ben in London).
I believe that being an artist is truly what I’m meant to be. I know it’s cheesy, but I was even voted “Most Likely to Become an Artist” in high school if that means anything. Creating is what I live for and creating with my couples rather than for them is how I view my approach.
